No. McAndrew and Hughes are our overseas players for the Blast, while Seales joins the WI squad. We have Jaydev Unandkat joining us for the last few CC games
I remember a few years back we played Middlesex on cup final day (I think it was 2006). We were playing at Horsham and Mushy wrapped up the Middlesex innings on the stroke of lunch, leading to a stonking Sussex win.
Maybe it's a good omen
Great win today. Next game is the last with Robbo (and, I believe, Seales and Pujara). We really need to win that and get a head start on the rest of the pack. I still think we need to strengthen the batting - Clark hasn't come off and I think that Simpson is place too high. We could drop...
Once again, we're struggling when Pujara and Haines fail - there's a real fragility in our line up (yes, I know Simpson's made a double ton and Lamb has got runs) but that's after the top order has blunted the attack). We need someone a bit tougher in the middle order.
We need to look at opener...
And Bertie Foreman had a good winter in grade cricket. Poor Archie Lenham is falling a bit behind.
We have Dan Ibrahim's brother coming through the ranks too, I saw him as a kid and he was a very useful spinner.
Robinson will be keen to get back in England reckoning and the ECB will want him to get some overs in, so I'd expect to see him playing. We may even see the lesser-spotted Archer, although his four day appearances may be limited.
