Watching the Pitchside video, the roar that goes up after the third goal is immense. The superb double punch of two goals in two minutes. The moment we knew we had them. It all came tumbling out then.

Alternatively, they scratch out a result against one of the worst teams in the league, Roy hangs on for a week with his not so merry band of bang average shufflers and we put them out of their misery. Perhaps?

Imagine the pelters he’ll get is he rocks up as manager at The Amex next month. In which case, I hope his rivalry record holds up.

If they wait until after the match against us to bin off Roy, then they’re even dafter than they look. Let the transfer window slam shut and then get a new manager in for some turd polishing? That would be genius.

From Holmesdale.net... “Wilf could never shoot or cross the ball, he doesn't have any real footballing ability. The one thing he can do is miraculously beat players with the ball making him a threat, by far his greatest contribution is winning penalties. The reason no big clubs will come in...

Had TalkShite’s commentary on the radio as I drove into work this afternoon. Particularly enjoyed when Zaha’s performance was described as “disastrous”. Normally their hyperbole annoys me but in this instance it made me feel all warm inside.

I indulged in some unhealthy great dollops of schadenfreude and had a laugh at their forum last night. I noted that one poor, bitter soul had a signature that read "Brighton have the second highest debt in English football- just let that sink in". It must rile them no end that we have an...

From the BBC match report... "Zaha was their most dangerous outlet, but when he was well marshalled by the Blades defence, they did not appear to have another strategy." *snigger*

:) Fair point well made. I'm not worried myself but some on here seem to feel the prospect of Knocky's departure, coupled with our failure to get the Messi deal over the line, mean we're championship bound.

It’s called long-term planning. I don’t expect you’ve heard of it. The academy has only been running a few years. Both the U18 and U23s are doing pretty well. We’re working on it. I’m glad Wan Bissaka turned out well for you. I’m surprised you didn’t end up poisoning him.
