    Just back from a scooter rally in France, my god the roads are brilliant, haven't been for 5 years, almost forgotten what a decent road is like. Perfect for scootering, and cycling, aside ther billiard table finish, they're virtually empty! Normandy/Brittany is wonderful.

    Bloody dark here . . . Most car drivers are impatient and inconsiderate . . .need good lights. I booted a car yesterday, woman on the wrong side of the road coming at me, turned right across my nose, I was turning left whether I wanted to or not.

    Good points 28mm optimum all round in my (recent experience) opinion A rear rack ( seat post of frame ) for lashing stuff on, or panniers 5 gears is enough for most things . . .keep it simple, personal tuning is easily possible. Don't forget lights . . A bank of 12, and 10 mirrors :lolol...
