Just back from a scooter rally in France, my god the roads are brilliant, haven't been for 5 years, almost forgotten what a decent road is like. Perfect for scootering, and cycling, aside ther billiard table finish, they're virtually empty! Normandy/Brittany is wonderful.
Green loctite. Superglue is for childrens toys. . . .638. . . .metal/metal, make sure its all ultra clean, add a dash, bolt it all together and leave it 24 hours. The stuff goes rock hard and things will not move.

A rear rack ( seat post of frame ) for lashing stuff on, or panniers
5 gears is enough for most things . . .keep it simple, personal tuning is easily possible.
