[Other Sport] Massage guns - recommendations, please...

I disagree. My physio actually recommended I use one. It shouldn't replace stretching but it's good to use alongside a stretching routine. Spending a fortune on a Theragun is a gimmick. The cheap versions are just as good.

Just say you identify as a non pronoun user. You take offence at being asked to use a pronoun.

[Football] New Kits Thread - 24-25 Season

I think I'll stick with the 2022 one. I wish they'd come up with a better design for the Canada Soccer badge. It's quite naff.

I bought this one from Amazon a couple of years ago It's been great. I was using it after every run when I was marathon training and it definitely helps with muscle aches. Especially for my calves and quads, which get ridiculously tight.

Tech companies adding AI to EVERYTHING. I think AI is a very powerful tool, especially for things like scientific research. I don't need it on WhatsApp or GMail though.

[TV] Inside No. 9 - New Series

Really enjoying this series. I would order them: 1. Mulberry Close - The characters were built up really well and it was a great ending. 2. CTRL-ALT-ESC - I've done a few escape rooms and enjoyed all the little nods. Great suspense and the ending was a surprise. 3. The Trolley Problem - Good...

Yes. They are so stupid. Every time I'm back in the UK it takes me a while to remember where I'm supposed to look for the crossing light. Even when there are two, they're often both blocked because someone is standing right next to you. GET RID.

    Official Running Thread

Ooh, a timely reappearance of the table. I did a 5k in Buffalo on Saturday. It was their marathon weekend, with the 5k on Saturday and the half/full marathons on Sunday. I was really just there to have beers and watch some of my friends on Sunday but I couldn't go without running, so the 5k was...

[Misc] Did people talk as much before Apple AirPods?

Yes, I am a millennial (although I hate that term and these made up "generations") and I have always hated phone conversations. I never understand all these people walking down the street constantly on calls with people. If I go out for a walk it's usually to get away from conversations, even...

    Bell Cheeses at work

I actually think our head of finance is incapable of speaking normal English. Even when people were asking questions at the end she immediately went back into buzzwords speak. She just couldn't give a simple, comprehensible answer.
