Agreed, he's an utter delight, and his running on and off the ball is staggering but, to reach the heights, he needs to improve his finishing from open play. Yesterday's effort was just one of many that the top strikers would have buried.
I'm glad your getting pelters for starting this thread and, as @Herr Tubthumper says, why not post this in another thread like the one questioning whether Tony warrants trust, because your trust (in what precisely?) is what you're ultimately raising on this thread.
I'll try and go easy for all...
Pre-match it was stated (officially?) that Barber and RDZ would do a joint press conference. I take it this didn't happen but would welcome: someone posting it if it did; and, confirmation of whether the mooted conference came from within the club or without.
Amazing. Santo Palato looks suitably hip, and that wine list at Goccetto has some keenly-priced gems on it. Would I be right in thinking that you can eat the equivalent of a meal there?
We're off to Rome and Naples next w/e, and have just looked through this thread. Not looking for offal focused, because my partner doesn't eat meat, but wondered if there were any highlight restaurants you'd recommend. Might also prod @Yes Chef on this too. FWIW, we're staying in Trastevere so...
Burnt Orange
Went there for my birthday with our 17yo, and it worked really well. Lots of sharing plates, interesting largely northeastern flavours, lots of grilled stuff and more from a pizza-esque oven. Nice vibe. We all enjoyed it, and would go back but it's a restaurant for certain...
Considered it. Seen them many times. They're a bit hold and cold live for me and not sure it works quite so well at The Dome.
I did see J Spaceman play with a string quartet and three gospel backing singers at Komedia, and that's one of the best gigs I've seen in Brighton. Off the top of my...
Think you should look at their second again. He wasn't hugely culpable for it in my view. Not convinced about the positioning comment either. When he was on, we had considerably more of the ball as we were trying to get back in the game.
All conducted while launching family values as the centrepiece of their strategy. And some bod will come along here insisting that Starmer is a hypocrite. 'Centrist' John is the very height of hypocrisy.
I absolutely loved the way that Carlos targeted Caicedo when he came on, just to demonstrate who's the boss on the pitch.*
* In fairness, Caicedo and Cucurella were their best players, despite the lack of support the vile (they're all vile) Chelsea fans gave them early on. The below article...
Thanks as ever.
As to your first point, there were a few Lallana interviews released (in the middle of?) last season, and in one he specifically mentioned that he'd been having a really tough time.
