    [Travel] Electric bike

If you have a normal bike already, a good way of doing E biking is by getting a Swytch kit - which converts your bike into an e bike at a much cheaper, reasonable cost https://www.swytchbike.com/

[Misc] What is the greatest purchase you've EVER made

Mine are simply a couple of books. In 1991 at school I read My Family and other Animals by Gerald Durrell. Great memories of sitting by the window in class with the sun streaming in..... It kind of went forgotten about for 20yrs as I went through life, but I bought a copy about 10 years ago...

We hired a couple of Boris bikes and rode the city circuit a couple of times - good fun, but, bloody hell - those things are HEAVY & TOUGH. Perfect for cruising the streets of London though - & expect the cars would come off worse in an accident 😁

    [Misc] Rumbles between schools

Varndean '86-'91 was basically a period of calm from what I remember....absolutely no recollection of any rumbles happening, although lots of rumours of course

[Other Sport] London Series: Mets v Phillies (Regular Season game) @ London Stadium 08th and 09th June

iirc it was a website that BL holders can get tickets from. Last year we only paid the handling fees of £17, and got 3 seats right by the Cardinals bullpen. Annoying thing is, my wife had been checking every day to see if they were doing the MLB again this year - & the morning the tickets came...

We were holding out for Blue Light tickets again like last year, but my wife missed the email and they'd all sold out 2 hrs later. Will be in Trafalgar Sq on Friday for the fan park if the weather is ok, and will try and get tickets for the Sunday if they come down at all

If anyone is at a loose end on Sunday, the RideLondon Classique finishes on the Mall, after 3 days of racing around Essex / London. All the top female riders & teams are there, and it should be a great day out watching the pros. *for a bit of "home" interest, Francesca Selva is riding for...

How long could we survive? The way our 17yr old eats....probably not even til lunchtime on day 1

Another thumbs up for Vienna...stunning city. We went for the Xmas markets in Nov/Dec though, which may be a wildly different experience to going in early summer. I've always fancied Girona - meant to be lovely...

The Rangers have been my "2nd team" ever since I won a NYR jersey on Ch5's competition in Gretzky's final season. Great series win - and been a strong season all round. Could it be their year?

Another US colleague came along with us to watch a Sussex game and was amazed at the fielding. He coached his church young kids baseball team and he messaged me a few weeks later to say that he had the young kids using the long barrier for hits along the ground and it had saved them several runs...

Was talking to my Detroit mate yesterday about Goffs new deal - and we got to comparing him & Watson in Cleveland. I reckon its a huge year for DW.
