Still can't see him wanting to come back when he's still(allegedly) getting paid by Chelsea. Unless that's now ended?, and Bloom is prepared to pay him hefty wages.
All I can say is Bloom obviously thinks he is the best man currently available for the job if, of course, he is being considered. Perhaps the Dunk mentioning is what it is. Senior player/players been asked for opinions in light of the sudden Roberto departure?
Yes, they loved him and still do. Bringing in 20+ players when they got promoted on silly money some of them. Imagine having to work with a complete new squad whereas, with us (rumoured) it'll be a squad of good young players with a few additions/departures (not 20) and keep within Blooms model.
Either way it could turn out to be a disastrous move by Bloom. Roberto wasn't perfect but my word he was as close to an elite manager we were likely to have!
Yes, Wolves aren't in a good place to buy players and being close to the area their fans are livid at the season ticket increases which have been doubled for under 16s as a way of trying to compete!
Had a convo and a bit of ribbing from people in my job today saying we(Brighton) are being out financed by the Premier league! " even Ipswich will pay 5 million a year to their manager" was 1 remark, and they've been out of it for 20 odd years"! Bearing in mind they are villa fans I'm dealing...
